A Signal

Where for art thou, Rescue Dawn?

Somewhere there's a Werner Herzog movie playing, and it's nowhere near me. The one movie I really want to see right now and it's not showing in my neck o' the bumpkinland. Why can't our city ever get anything remotely good? Now I have to probably go see Transformers, just so Brent will stop riding my ass about it at work. Even though, despite my toy obsession, I was never a big Transformers fan growing up, although my brother sure was. Plus, Michael Bay makes my arms break out into spots.

You wanna know what I miss most about you, Newland? Having intelligent, witty, thought-provoking discourse about film. And ragging the hell outta them.

Signed,

The Countess

I miss all of it, Countess. Every drop-tabbed slack-jawed freshly-scrubbed deep-blued square inch of it. If I didn't have the pictures I'd go nuts. (And be retaining like the Hoover Dam.) I miss new shots of you. If I send you one sometime, would you ever want to return the favor?

Most of my new pictures are in my xpeeps page, except for the slighty more explicit ones, since I try to keep my peeps page relatively R-rated (and I've been thinking about taking my peeps page down lately anyway). My camera hasn't been working lately but maybe I have some semi-recent stuff to share, if you still want some.

And I would a new picture of you. You still have my email?

Wow. Xpeeps completely crashed my browser, and then my computer. I wonder if that's telling me something? I have no idea how explicit to get here. How about zero? This is your public forum. I don't have your address anymore. I do remember it began castellanosmelp, I think. Hard to forget that. I just felt so ridiculous the time I IMd you and got Joe. I've got no business swimming in another man's pool. I was just so happy to have you be thinking of me while you're trashing Michael Bay, which is a noble pastime since the man has the ability to control millions of dollars towards fabulous ends and he chooses to make Transformers. Anyway before it crashed me I got to see a few comments on my favorite picture and the thought of being just some other anonymous schmuck drooling over your breasts probably snapped me back to sobriety. Do send me your address again, and you will hear from me soon, promise. M.

My email is indeed still castellanosmelp@aol.com, and whatever kind of picture exchange you prefer is perfectly okay with me. Personally I'd just love anything from you since it would be the first of anything I'd have from you just to prove to myself that you still exist out there. You've had almost two years of my life to follow along with, while I have only had about 5 or 6 cyrptic comments here and there that have left vague clues as to whether or not you were alive, or ever really did exist to begin with. I swear sometimes if I didn't have your pictures and letters I'd go mad thinking it was all a dream. Believe me, after the guilt I've felt for so long I would never dare to ask for anything more from you than a humble photograph. I'll let you set the pace this time, if and when you feel comfortable contacting me again. My door is and always will be open to you whenever that day happens to come.

Did you IM me recently? If you would prefer to contact me on the Yahoo IM at melp_ster you can do that too. Of course we both have that allergic reaction to the instant messenger, but I think for you I'd make an exception. ;-)
