Ilha de Queimada Grande has been a recent obsession of mine, and I have always been fascinated with the very macabre idea of Poveglia Island, although it's a shame they supposedly don't let tourists visit, even though I have seen photos of people milling about. Perfectly understandable about not letting people on Queimada Grande, however. You'll get no argument from me.
