Pass The Hatchet

Still having a bit of an internet connection snafu these days, and it's been especially nerve-rattling this week in particular so if anyone hasn't been receiving any of my emails over the last few days I apologize now, and also in advance, since I still haven't quite figured out the whole bloody mess of it. Cable connections and all that. Thuh-thuh-thuh-thuh-thuuuuhh...

In the meantime, enjoy some Fat Worm Of Error.

It's been a while with the relo to Denver and all...saw some pics of your place a few entries back. WOW, it looks so awesome, you did good, girl, congrats!! Hope you post some more pics, or maybe you did and I just need to catch up. :) Denver is so far so good, great music scene, I feel like a kid again. I've got tickets to see Peaches down the street from me at the Gothic Theater (Englewood) in July. Neato. Chris says I'm naughty for seeing her, lol.

Hey!!!

Wow, you made the big move already! I was wondering where you've been. Sounds like you moved right into the city -- well, Englewood, I guess? But man, that's quite a move. I bet they do have a pretty decent music scene over there (well better than here anyway.) Are you guys renting or buying out there? Hey, do you still have my email address? Drop me a line sometime and tell me about it!

Oh and let me know how Peaches went. Curious as to what her stage shows must be like. You know we have Bauhaus coming here Sunday night -- at the Amphitheatre! Well naturally they are opening for NIN, but still, kind of amusing to think of a band that hasn't played live since 1983 playing an Ampitheatre (kind of). Still not as funny as seeing Peter Murphy play live at Harbor Park. On Second base. In broad daylight. In 99 degree summer heat. Opening for the Norfolk Tides vs. Toledo Mud Hens.

or the fact that a potty-mouthed pre-fame Jewel opened for him
or that they played the profanity laced soundtrack to Natural Born Killers between acts

or the conversation I had witha goth girl telling me that NIN should be opening for Bauhaus

Yeah! And didn't you tell her something to the effect of "Well give Bauhaus another 15 years to acquire as many hit singles as NIN did and then maybe next time they can headline."?

No I said the promoters did not want the bulk of the crowd to leave after NIN

and maybe something about Bauhuas failure to dent the top 40\\

either way it reminded me of the flak I got for booking Christian Death and DI together
