Urge Overkill

So it looks as if there might be a re-release of the original 1970's version of The Wicker Man to coincide with the upcoming Neil LaBute evisceration adaptation, but I got a hunch they're still just pumping out the shortened US version again. Grrr. Has anybody out there who knows a thing or two heard otherwise? Am I gonna have to eBay the UK version, or whatever that version was that came out in a wooden box in 2001? And I bet it goes for assloads of dinero, too. Balls. There's just too long a list right now for OOP DVDs I want from eBay at this moment. Hey, is the UK version of The Wicker Man on DVD with the extra minutes left in? I can now finally order PAL since learning how to get my Sampo DVD player to play my PAL-encoded Europorn feature films this week.

And to demonstrate just how out of touch I typically am, one of my all-time favorite movies Map Of The Human Heart has been out on DVD now for over two years and I'm just hearing about it now. :::weeps:::
